Once again John & Polly will be hosting their Annual Christmas Party at their Pub in Lincoln Park. Stop in for some cheer and enjoy their Christmas Buffet !
In the spirit of the Holidays, guests are asked to help support St. Vincent De Paul’s community outreach programs by cleaning out your closets and donating hats, gloves, scarves and socks. The Church will always accept monetary donations as well!

College Basketball Season is HERE!
October 15th, 2010Today, October 15th, 2010 signals the beginning of College Basketball season across the country. As programs across the country start their first official practices at midnight this evening, rest assured that the fine student-athletes of Maguire University will be taking the court, to begin preparing for our National Title defense.
Join us tonight, at the Maguire U athletic facilities directly in front of the refreshment station at “Kelly’s Gym” for a few rounds to celebrate!

College basketball is just weeks away and our planning for the Final 5 in Houston is in full swing.
We have contracted for 35 rooms this year and as always they will be allocated on a first come basis. This year we had to use an event broker to get rooms in Downtown Houston and therefore payments are due well in advance of the event by the University. Please be mindful of this.

Maguire U Celebrates Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup Championship!

CHICAGO, Ill. – Just like the rest of Maguire University worldwide, Maguire U players, coaches, students and alumni watched with excitement as the Blackhawks beat the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday night to win their first Stanley Cup championship since 1961. Two years before Maguire U took their first trip to the NCAA Final 4/5.
The Blackhawks defeated the Flyers 4-3 on Patrick Kane’s goal just over four minutes into overtime to win the series in six games.
Congratulations on bringing Lord Stanley’s Cup back to Chicago! Think about bringing it over to Kelly’s Pub sometime soon!
