CHICAGO, Ill. – Just like the rest of Maguire University worldwide, Maguire U players, coaches, students and alumni watched with excitement as the Blackhawks beat the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday night to win their first Stanley Cup championship since 1961. Two years before Maguire U took their first trip to the NCAA Final 4/5.
The Blackhawks defeated the Flyers 4-3 on Patrick Kane’s goal just over four minutes into overtime to win the series in six games.
Congratulations on bringing Lord Stanley’s Cup back to Chicago! Think about bringing it over to Kelly’s Pub sometime soon!
