As I start to write this I am sitting at my computer thinking of all the ‘to-do’ items on my list that need to be done before I leave for Indianapolis tomorrow afternoon. Then it dawns on me….

My ‘to-do’ for the next 6 days is enjoy the time with the 2010 Maguire University traveling team and friends. For the past 15 years this time of year has been filled with many laughs, stories, events, travels and of course beer shared with the common bond of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

2010 will be no different. I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Indianapolis. Some we only see once a year, some a lot more often. Either way I treasure and appreciate every ‘shining moment’ of this weekend.

This year we at Maguire will miss four of our veterans. Tom Urban and Mike Doyle Sr. have joined a traveling team we eventually all must join. Dave Mammoser and Glen Fenske (sophomore) both made the team and have to stay home due to injury. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all four.

So as I go off to complete my ‘to-do’ list I look forward to tomorrow and the weekend! I can’t wait.
